[aka Beadmaking Introduction workshop] This is an intromini course designed for gifts and travellers. Lampworking (beadmaking) is a magical art where you melt glass and create your own beads.

$135 includes all materials
Duration: Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10h00 – 13h00
Where: Born to Bead studio 12 Minaret Drive Bucklands Beach Auckland

The class includes:

Basic studio safety, overview of tools & glass alchemy, how to pull glass for decorating, melting glass for round beads, applying dots and spots, controlling heat to leave raised elements, layered dots patterns

Beads cycle in the kiln overnight so completed beads will either be collected by yourself the following day or alternatively for an additional fee Born to Bead can clean your beads and post them through to you.

On average a student will make 4 – 6 beads

If there are 3 or more of you in a group you can book this course on a day or evening that would suit you and have a private session.
